Short-Distance Flow Stabilization Technology
Japan Wind Tunnel Manufacturing is able to realize short-distance flow stabilization through the 1.4-meter-long Aero Optim. Normally, straightening the airflow in a short distance requires a significant amount of power and a large fan. If the airflow is straightened conventionally, a wind tunnel will not fit within the dimensions of a compact, stackable cuboid. By utilizing technology for military jet engines, our company has gone through seven generations of prototyping and tens of trials. As a result, we have a highly efficient and short flow-straightening system that can fit inside this small package. This technology is now used in our large-scale wind tunnels for highly improved efficiency.
